This fortress was built at jo seon dynasty.

It was originally builit for defending foreign enemy.

It is the largest fortress in yeongnam region.

Currently, It is representative tourist spot in seong ju gun.

Seong ju is belongs to gyeong sang buk do.

The scenery is very beautiful after snow.

A parking lot is located 1km in front of the fortress

but the lot`s size is small.

This fortress was designated 1995. Jan. 14th of gyeong sang buk do`s cultural property.
